
ARC NLC Farm Stand
Jason Brear, Job Coach and Garden Manager for ARC NLC is happy to receive six flats of vegetable seedlings, tomato supports and supplements from ECCGA, ARC NLC offers advocacy, life coaching and job opportunities to over 620 individuals in New London County with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The garden is tended by this community and the produce is sold at the adjacent farm stand that is open in the summer.

Great Neck Elementary School Garden
Marcia Benvenuti, Lead Gardener/Educator at Great Neck Elementary School and an ECCGA Board Member with seedlings, seed potatoes, and onions donated by ECCGA to school garden. Marcia also receives supplements and a load of seaweed from ECCGA. Under Marcia's gentle guidance, each class at the school (from Pre-K through fifth grade) plants in the garden in the spring and in the fall each student goes home with a bag of produce; the fruits of their labor!


Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center
Gene Renz, Head Gardener of the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center (PNC), graciously accepting the new garden cart and seedlings given by ECCGA! The PNC grows hundreds of pounds of fresh produce yearly that is available free of charge at PNC’s food bank.
