We have worked with many of the local community gardens in Eastern Connecticut, and are always willing to help start more! We can supply lumber for beds, compost and seaweed to fill the beds, and in some cases, plants.
We believe that community gardens offer affordable, healthy food choices. When people work together to grow food and re-connect with the land, communities and families grow strong, hopeful, confident and healthy.
The ECCGA has a strong network of growers who are willing to share their hands-on knowledge and experience with you. We can connect you with any number of gardens to help you get started!
